RED HOTTTT FISHING!!!

Hello Everyone! Sorry for the lack of communication this year so far. We took over the whole operation here and lost the newsletter service. I have gotten a new one but don't know how to get it set up quite yet:) Anyway, i wanted to touch base with you all and let you in on what's going on here on the wonderful North Platte River. The fishing right now is as good as I've seen it this year. The water is running at 1300 cfs and the temperature is still in the mid 50's. The water is full of food and we are catching fish about every way possible with a fly rod. Our hatches right now are midges, caddis, yellow sally's, PMD's, BWO's, trico's, crane fly's, and some hoppers. Evenings have been real good dry fly fishing and nymphs and streamers have been the ticket during the day. We caught a 22 inch fish on a dry fly 2 days ago and hooked one yesterday on a dry that was pushing 24 inches. I had a gentleman in my boat a coupledays ago who hooked 67 fish with around an 18 inch average! We were nymphing leeches, worms, and pmd's. The past couple of years this has been the norm in July and August. I know there are outfits out there saying not to fish in July and August because it is hard on the fish and that is true if the water temperature reaches 70 degrees. However it wont even come close to reaching 70 and the 55 degree mark fires these fish up. They are very active and fight extremely hard. The fish lately have been very acrobatic, getting in the air several times as they rip line from your reel. The point is that the fishing is incredible and I would love for all of you to experience it! I have dropped the price of a float trip from $375 to $300 per day. This $300 rate is only good for July and August. I want to get people here to show them how amazing the fishing is in the summer and you get to enjoy the warm weather rather than freeze to death like we commonly do in the spring:) I hope everyone is doing well and hope to hear from you soon. Let me know if I can help you set anything up or if you'd like to come fish on your own don't forget about our wonderful cabins sitting on the river bank. Out the front door is where the best dry fly fishing in the west takes place! Take care and keep in touch! God Bless!
