DRY Fly Fishing in the Wind

Hello everyone. I have been having trouble with
trying to get a fishing report on the website so I
thought I would just send out a quick email and let
everyone know what is happening on our end of the
world. The fishing has been absolutly awesome this
fall. We have had a few windy days but are still able
to feed fish dry flies regardless of the 40 mph wind.
Amazing huh? The water is crystal clear and the fish
are definately looking up. We have landed several
over 20 inches and one of Mark's clients even landed a
24 inch rainbow the other day on a dry fly. Not to
mention all of the toads that have got away.

September was an extremely busy month with fly shop
and lodges constuction as well as fishing every day
but it is all coming together. The shop will be dried
in today and the lodges are be set on the foundations
next monday the 8th. We are all very excited as the
end is in sight and everything is looking great. We
will begin taking bookings for the lodges in the next
month or so for next year and with limited number of
lodges (3) I would recommend doing so earlier than
later. The lodges hold 4 fisherman each and come with
bbq, full kitchen, dining room, large deck, and 2 bed
rooms. The lodges overlook the river so evening
cocktail hour should be very comfortable.

October fishing availability is filling up but we do
have a hand full of days where we can get you out to
enjoy world class dry fly fishing, beautiful fall
colors, huge fish, and most of all a great all around
experience.

Our goose hunts in Wheatland start the 1st week of
December. I need to hear from those of you planning a
trip but have not gotten in touch with me yet. I know
I have spoke with several of you about the hunts who
were interested but only have very few days of the
entire season open on the calendar. If you have a day
scheduled lets touch base and start making
arrangements for lodging and meeting places for the
hunt. We are very excited about the projected bird
numbers this year and along with some cold weather we
should be in excellent shape. If you like waterfowl
hunting or would like to try it this is the year for
it.

Anyway, I need to get caught up but I just wanted to
drop you a line and keep everyone up to date. Thank's
for the support and hope all has been well with you
all. Look forward to hearing from you and in the mean
time "GOOD FISHING!!!"
