Water's Dropping & BIG Fish are Chasing! Streamers That Is!!!!

Hello fellow anglers. The Bureau of Rec. dropped the river flows, finally. We are currently running at about 1000 cfs and scheduled to drop down to our winter flows of 500 cfs. The moss is moving out and the fishing is fabulous. I guess it is time to think about getting those fall fishing clothes out and get those streamer boxes filled. I can't believe it is already here. Anyway, I know several of you were interested in a fall fishing trip, which is the best fishing this river has to offer. We still have some open days in September and October so check your schedules and lets catch that 10 lb. fish. Remember, in the fall we fish lower. Prettier scenery and much larger fish. We will have the opportunity to throw dry flies, streamers, and yes we can still nymph with indicators. I just thought I would touch base since I hadn't heard from some of you. I don't want anyone left out and I know you are all very busy so.....turn the computers off and lets go fishing. Hope all is well and look forward to hearing back from you.

We were strippin’ streamers the last two days and caught some hogs. I know most of you probably think that Stu never works because he always has huge fish pics on our website, but he is a great streamer fisherman and the last time I checked you can't catch these HOGS at your desk. I also have to give Jim (The top two pics) an A++ for his streamer fishing. He is a "newbee" at chuckin' streamers but he did an awesome job as you can see. Well here is my good word for the week and hope this will give all of you HOG FEVER.

Good colors right now are tan/white, olive, and a brown yellow combo. As Jason said the water is lowering and the fish are a little easier to find, and man are they hungry. Talk to ya soon, Mark.
