Chuckin' Streamers!!!!!!

Hey there friends and fisherman. Today was one of those days that you will probably never forget. One reason being, Stu Tanner and I fished today and the weather was outstanding (NO WIND) and secondly, the fishing was awesome. Stu stripped streamers all day and we either had a fish on, or had the fish trying to eat our bugs. We had a lot of short strikes today which is typical for winter streamer action, but I would have to say that today was one of the best winter streamer days I have ever had, or witnessed I guess, on the Reef.

I just have to sit back and thank God for such a wonderful river and especially give thanks for opportunity to get out with such wonderful friends. Fishing seems to do that to people. I knew it was going to be a great day, not only because of the fishing but because what happened early in the day. With the boat ramp still in sight we landed our first fish and Stu said "well, we proved to be successful, now the rest is just icing on the cake." These are the kind of days were time away from the everyday grind and time spent with friends seems to be more valuable than the numbers of fish that reach the net. Well enough from me, I will leave you with a couple of Stu's nice fish. One is a real nice Cutty.

Oh yeah we were using Blonde Polar Bear (2), Black Pine squirrel (6), Olive Slump Buster (4).

See ya on the water,

Mark Hamrick
